Not decoration.Modular engineering, built for the hardest rooms.
We design and build bespoke three dimensional stage environments for theatres, concerts and corporate events. Aesthetics, function and engineering are decided together, because a set that looks right and cannot be assembled in the window available is not a set. Every element carries manual and mechanical movement systems, so scene changes stay clean even when the situation is not.
Measured first, drawn second, built last
Nothing is designed against a plan we have not verified. Every project starts with a survey on site, laser scanned into a point cloud, because a venue that has been refitted twice is never quite what its drawings say. The set is then designed inside that survey: concept and sketches, scale models, technical drawings and renders, with the sightline from the worst seat in the house, the loads and the way in through doors, corridors and lifts all resolved on screen while they are still free to change. What reaches the workshop is a package that can be built, and what reaches the venue has already been there once.
A kit of parts, not a construction site
Traditional build complexity has been replaced with a plug and play modular philosophy. Components are conceived for rapid assembly inside tight time windows, with no structural modification required on site. What arrives is a system that goes together, not a problem to be solved again at every installation.
One set, every rulebook it has to pass
Materials are specified before they are chosen. High strength aerospace alloys and fire retardant composites cut static loads significantly, and every element is built to the standard its destination requires: the international rules that apply at sea, the fire and safety regulations of the theatre on land, and whatever the local authority asks in the country the show travels to. The rules change with the country and with the room. The set does not, so compliance is drawn in from the start rather than chased at the end.
A set that gives light, not one that waits for it
A scenic object is not furniture waiting to be lit. Our sets carry their own light: LED strips run inside the mouldings, sources sit behind the surfaces, and whole faces are built as video. The structure emits instead of reflecting, so a wall can draw its own edges, change colour with the scene, and turn into a moving image between one number and the next. Dark, it stays a clean piece of scenery with no hardware on show. Lit, it is the thing the audience is looking at.
Structures that change shape
Static backdrops are the exception here. We design shape shifting structures that evolve and breathe, redefining how the audience reads the space: rotating LED walls, tilting platforms, kinetic rigs. A single set volume can be reconfigured into a completely different landscape in a heartbeat.
Once the vision is set, we must give it a home. Space is not merely a container. It is a character in the show. Here we transform emptiness into immersive environments, where scenic architecture prepares the audience for what they are about to experience.
Scale models
Every environment proven at model scale before a single beam is cut.
Automation & rigging
Movement systems and rigging points designed into the set, never added later.
Scenic painting
Surface and texture finished by hand, to read under full theatrical light.
Modular transport
Components sized for sea, air and land, and for the corridors at the far end.
